The Friends of the Hancock House is a non-profit organization which works with the State of New Jersey to promote and educate the community about the William H. Hancock House located in Lower Alloways Township, Salem county New Jersey.

Wed.-Sat. 10:00AM-12:00PM
1:00PM-4:00PM
Sunday 1:00PM-4:00PM
We suggest you call ahead if traveling a long distance. At times meetings,training, and workshops may require the House to be temporarily closed

House is always closed the Wednesday after a preceding Monday Holiday

West Gable....W for William, S for Sarah, his wife, H for Hancock, and 1734 the year the house was built, the zigzag pattern is known as herringbone
